(What is an international School?) Your role is a Lead teacher for 15+ students aged between 2-6 years. The classes will be lead by yourself and a licensed Japanese nursery teacher in English. Our aim is to “teach in English” not to “teach English.” Three Lions International School is a kindergarten in Japan but we conduct our lessons in English. Most of the children’s parents are Japanese, so the upmost respect for Japanese culture and manners is paramount. Three Lions International School has a very positive, easy-going, playful environment with heavy focus on respect and family. Three Lions International School (スリーライオンズインターナショナルスクール) is in Kumamoto Higashi-ku area. You must have a degree or have exceptional talent (you need a degree to work in Japan or a spouse VISA). A minimum of 1 year experience teaching young children aged between 2-6 years old is preferred. Applicant is NOT REQUIRED to be residing in Japan because we can sponsor or renew your visa. Accommodation: “we can help teachers with accommodations if necessary.” Shakai Hoken (社会保険)and paid vacation. 6 months -1-year renewable contract. Position begins April, 2016 (earlier if possible).
